The Alpha board excels in two main areas: as a light-wind board
for the |
Simple to use The Alpha board is easy to ride. The board’s 44cm width allows early planing and progressive flex in the tips gives great power holding ability. The straight rail enables the board to track well on an upwind line and cut easily through choppy water. Beginners will find it simple to hold an edge and start planing in light winds. |
| Easy to manoeuvre By balancing length and width, the Alpha board brings the latest in board technology to all its riders. The short length makes it easy to manoeuvre in the water, while the 44cm width enables early get up and go. These characteristics give the rider a beeling of being on a much smaller board. or the experienced rider, this opens new doors for freestyle areas in wind that previously wouldn’t have been useable. |
Comfortable The variable stance options allow each rider to customise the board to maximise their personal comfort. The light-weight Airex® foam core dampens vibrations in chop giving a smoother ride, leaving you free to enjoy the conditions. |

| The new Flexifoil Delta boards have been created for intermediate
and experienced riders who are looking or a kiteboard to use in
a wide range of conditions. The board has been carefully designed
to focus on rider comfort, ease of use and versatility. |
Adaptability The Delta board excels as an all-round board. It’s suited for both freestyle and freeride; this is partly due to the carefully balanced length to width ratio, which has helped make the Delta the board of choice for many of the Flexifoil pro-rider team. Each board has been individually designed to ensure that you don’t have a board that requires lots of kite power all the time, or skips out in high winds. This board will enable you to take your riding up a gear. |
Performance The diverse potential of this board enables riders of all levels to push their abilities and performance in many new directions, ensuring that every rider makes the most from every session. |
Forgiving profile and rocker line The forgiving nature of this board allows the rider to try new things and develop their skills on a progressive learning scale. The flexible tips help to eliminate nose diving on landings, whilst maintaining edge control at high speeds. The overall rocker and rail outline (coupled with the progressive flex in the board) makes the Delta range the most comfortable boards to ride in choppy water that Flexifoil have ever made. |

The Omega board is built for the experienced rider with the focus on responsiveness and a lively ride. The Omega boards are designed for riders wanting reactive performance and exceptional carving ability. This board has excellent pop and releases superbly off the water making it good for wake style tricks, while the elliptical outline and sculpted tip shape provides the board with a true “carvey” turn, making it excellent for powered wave riding. |
Waveriding The elliptical outline provides more curvature in the tip so the board turns sharply on a small radius. Even on small waves the board drives well and pushes out of top and bottom turns. The Omega board has a loose “skate” feel, making it ideal for the experienced rider who is looking for a fun, fast and reactive board. |

We Say The Flip is an ideal first board. The construction is great and its great value for money. Unlike some older beginner boards, the flip isn't a huge floaty aircraft carrier of a board. It's ideal for your first water starts and we use it in the school. The foot pads and straps are a new one piece design and theyre really comfy. Although the Flip is a great board for beginners, it's also a great option for more advanced riders on a lightwind day. It's not a board you will grow out of quickly and it's always handy to have in the van. |
They Say The youngest brother in the ABoards 2008 board hierarchy - is an excellent choice for beginners as a first board in their journey of kiteboarding. The board is of slightly wider shape and increased length, which in combination with tunnel concave bottom deck will ensure perfect edging and upwind ability. Board has very strong core and great durability. True value for money board. |

We Say Eamon has been riding the UG FLX for the past four years. He's
had plenty of other offers of free boards, but has stuck with the
FLX. I wonder why? Each size has unique graphics that really make this board stand out on the beach. |
They Say For 2008 we retain the proven construction including the Paulownia
wood core, which made our previous boards the strongest we have
ever built to suit even the most hardcore riding style. In addition
it provides a very smooth ride and ultimate pop. Apart from these
performance features it is better for the environment which is essential
for our sport. The rocker lines and basic outlines have been refined and when upgrading from 2007 models to the new 2008 FLX you will feel comfortable straight away. Performance advantages of the new bottom shapes combined with the balanced overall design and construction characteristics are more grip, better edging, very powerful pop and jumping, more control when landing powered jumps flat with a lot of speed, better powered and controlled carving and no spray in the face. The FLX construction combines an Asian hardwood (Paulownia) core with a durable PBT top and base sheets, tapered ABS rails, stylish sublimated graphics and stainless steel inserts. Tailored thickness flow and flex patterns create the comfortable ride the FLX series is known for without compromising a wide powerful outline curve that provides great pop and upwind performance and makes landing tricks almost too easy. Unidirectional Carbon reinforced laminates provide the optimal
balance between strength, weight, flex and twist control. |
